Abstract

In this review the main physiological effects of nitric oxide in the human body have been considered, as well as its pathophysiologic role in bronchial asthma. Methods for determination of nitric oxide in exhaled air have
been described. The importance of determining the level of nitric oxide in patients with bronchial asthma has been analyzed.
