This article describes the current insights of features of inflammation caused by S. aureus. Further research aimed at a deeper study of the role of S. aureus in pathogenesis of nasal polyposis, as well as new methods of treatment that would prevent the recurrence of the disease and improve quality of life of the patients are needed.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье представлены новые сведения об особенностях воспаления, вызванного золотистым стафилококком. Требуется проведение дальнейших исследований, направленных на более глубокое изучение участия золотистого стафилококка в патогенезе полипозного риносинусита, необходимо внедрение новых методов лечения, которые позволили бы предотвратить возникновение рецидивов заболевания и улучшить качество жизни пациентов.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>chronic rhinosinusitis</kwd><kwd>nasal polyposis</kwd><kwd>Staphylococcus aureus</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>хронический риносинусит</kwd><kwd>полипозный риносинусит</kwd><kwd>золотистый стафилококк</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Лопатин А.С.
