Pathophysiology of pruritus has been insufficiently studied, but to this day it is considered that the main mediator of itch is histamine. Given the important role of histamine and the location of itch receptors in the superficial layers of the epidermis, the optimum is to use a topical antihistamine. The unique properties of dimethindene (Fenistil) provides rapid elimination of symptoms of itching and inflammation in allergic dermatoses.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Зуд является самым распространенным симптомом при заболеваниях кожи. патофизиология зуда изучена недостаточно, однако по сей день считается, что основным медиатором зуда является гистамин. Учитывая важную роль гистамина и расположение рецепторов зуда в поверхностных слоях эпидермиса, оптимальным является использование топического антигистаминного препарата.
