HAE affects daily life, career opportunities, and social activity. In addition, fear of the edema development, as well as the associated with it pain and risk of death leads to depressive disorders specific for chronic (especially life-threatening) diseases. The emergence of modern pathogenetic drugs can minimize the effect of HAE and improve the patients’ quality of life. There are three different therapeutic strategies that are used for HAE treatment: long-term prophylaxis, short-term and on-demand therapy for acute attacks. This article focuses on long-term prophylaxis.</p>
В данной статье речь пойдет о долгосрочной профилактике.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hereditary angioedema</kwd><kwd>HAE</kwd><kwd>long-term prophylaxis</kwd><kwd>C1-inhibitor</kwd><kwd>Berinert</kwd><kwd>danazol</kwd><kwd>angioedema</kwd><kwd>bradykinin</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>наследственный ангиоотек</kwd><kwd>НАО</kwd><kwd>долгосрочная профилактика</kwd><kwd>С1-ингибитор</kwd><kwd>Беринерт</kwd><kwd>даназол</kwd><kwd>ангиоотек</kwd><kwd>брадикинин</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Аллергология и иммунология: национальное руководство.
