Currently, allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma consider as one disease of the airways due to the presence of a cross-connection between the upper and lower respiratory airways and systemic response to the allergen. High efficiency of intranasal corticosteroids in treatment of allergic rhinitis determined by their pronounced anti-inflammatory action and effective influence on all phases of the pathogenesis of the disease. In addition, intranasal corticosteroids are effective in improving of ocular symptoms, fn particular, fluticasone propionate (Flixonase) causes a significant decrease in ocular symptoms caused by seasonal rinoconjunctivitis. Flixonase improves sleep and daytime fatigue and somnolence in patients with perennialallergic rhinitis.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>allergic rhinitis</kwd><kwd>bronchial asthma</kwd><kwd>intranasal glucocorticosteroids</kwd><kwd>fluticasone propionate (flixonase)</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>аллергический ринит</kwd><kwd>бронхиальная астма</kwd><kwd>интраназальные кортикостероиды</kwd><kwd>флутиказона пропионат (Фликсоназе)</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma (ARIA) 2008 Update.
