Musa Khaitov, graduated with honors from Russian State Medical University (RSMU) in 2002.
After he completed his PhD in 2003, he received EAACI Longterm Exchange Reserch Fellowship and worked since 2004 till 2006 as a fellow researcher in Department of Respiratory Medicine, National Heart and Lung Institute, Wright Fleming Institute of Infection & Immunity, Imperial College, London, UK.
He is the Doctor of medical Sciences since 2008.
Musa R. Khaitov graduated The Presidential Program for Training Management Personnel for the National Economy of The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) in 2008.
In 2013 he received the title of Professor.
He has been working in NRC Institute of Immunology FMBA Russia since 1993, started as a laboratory assistant, engineer, junior researcher, Head of laboratory of molecular immunology, Head of Department, since 2014 to the present as Director of NRC Institute of Immunology FMBA Russia.
He has published about 340 articles in a variety of Russian and international journals, he is an author of 3 monographs, has 20 patents for an invention, involved in and managed more than 14 scientific grants and projects. He was scientific advisor of 3 doctors and 9 candidates of sciences.
Musa R. Khaitov is a member of Russian Association of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (RAACI) and a member of European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI)
He is serving the editorial board of several journals: Immunology (in Russian), Russian Allergology Journal, Allergology and Immunology, Medicine of Extreme Situations.
He is an expert of Russian Scientific Foundation, expert of Russian Foundation for Basic Research, expert of Foundation “Skolkovo”, expert of Russian Academy of Sciences, expert of the Scientific Council on Biotechnology in OBN RAS.
His professional activity lays in the field of allergology, immunology, virology and molecular biology.
